Team Uncle Jim
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
This April marked the start of my seventh year since I heard the words no one wants to hear: "You have ALS." Since a diagnosis that changed everything and yet, here I am. Still fighting. Still grateful for each of you.
ALS doesn't give an inch. It gradually robs people of the ability to walk, speak, eat, and breathe, with an average life expectancy of just two to five years, there is still no cure.
But there is hope. This September, I'll once again participate in WalkALS Georgia, raising critical funds alongside ALS United of Georgia — an organization that has been a lifeline for me and so many others.
I do this because I refuse to accept that this is simply how it has to be. I do this so that one day, no one will ever have to hear those words.
Please consider supporting Team Uncle Jim. Every dollar brings us closer to better care, real resources, and a cure.
With love and gratitude,
Jim
