Welcome to Team Knowles
When my dad was diagnosed with ALS, the first question I asked myself was, what can I do to help? For me, the answer is to become active in the ALS community. That’s why I’m joining Walk ALS Georgia—to raise awareness, support families like mine, and fight for a cure.
ALS is a cruel disease. It slowly takes away the ability to walk, talk, eat, and even breathe. There is no cure yet, but there is hope—and that’s what we’re walking for.
I’m walking for my dad. I’m walking so that when families in Georgia hear the words You have ALS, they won’t also have to hear that there’s nothing doctors can do. I’m walking so that my dad and every person with ALS knows they are not alone, and that help and hope are out there.
You may not know anyone living with ALS, but you know me—and I’m asking for your support. Please consider joining Team Knowles or making a donation. Every step and every dollar brings us closer to the day when ALS is not a death sentence but a disease with a cure.
Love,
~Katie
Together, we can walk for my dad, for every family touched by ALS, and for a future without it.
