Welcome to Gina's Gems!
Welcome to Gina's Gems!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Thirty years ago, ALS changed my family's life forever. I was a teenager when my mom, Regina "Gina" Morris Williams, was diagnosed with ALS. I watched this cruel disease slowly take away her ability to walk, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe. She passed away in 1996 at just 37 years old, and while the years have passed, the impact of losing her has never faded.
I created Gina's Gems to honor my mom's memory and to support the thousands of individuals and families who are facing ALS today. Every step we take is in celebration of her life and in hope that one day no family will have to experience this devastating disease.
ALS is still a fatal disease with no cure. Until that day comes, ALS United of Georgia provides vital services, advocacy, equipment, education, and support to individuals and families throughout our state.
I'm inviting you to join me in making a difference:
Donate to help families living with ALS and support research for a cure.
Register to join Gina's Gems and walk alongside us as we honor my mom and everyone affected by ALS.
Share our fundraiser with your family, friends, and colleagues so we can reach even more people.
Every gift, every walker, and every shared post brings us one step closer to a future without ALS.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Gina's Gems, honoring my mom's legacy, and giving hope to families who need it most.
Together, we will keep walking until there is a cure.
