This May marked six years since my ALS diagnosis in 2020. It’s been a challenging road, but your support—and the support of ALS United of Georgia—has carried me through every step.

This September, I’ll once again take part in WalkALS Georgia to raise critical funds and awareness for those affected by this devastating disease. ALS gradually steals the ability to walk, speak, eat, and breathe. The average life expectancy is just 2 to 5 years—far too short, and still without a cure.

That’s why I walk: to help change the future. To ensure that one day, no one ever hears the words, “You have ALS.”
