2024 Walk ALS Georgia

Team Uncle Jim

Hello friends, family and supporters, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support you have given me these past few years. Entering my fifth year since diagnosis in May 2020, ALS United of Georgia has been with me on this journey throughout and is a source I lean on regularly for continued encouragement and guidance.

This year’s WalkALS Georgia, scheduled for this September, raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

ALS is a progressive neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe with normal life expectancy of 2 to 5 years.

As I’ve stated previously, my participation in this fundraiser is to ensure that one day in the near future the words, “You Have ALS” are never spoken again.

I truly appreciate any consideration of support provided to the ALS United of Georgia in honor of “Team Uncle Jim”. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
