Welcome to My Personal Page
Just over a year ago my beautiful daughter in law, Melissa Korn , was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease). Words cannot fully express the heartbreak that has struck out family watching this horrible condition take root and work its misery on her. I've seen true bravery in action as she fights this disease, and as my son, Garrett Korn has dealt with it all, standing firm, supporting his family in every way imaginable (with much help from all of us, of course).
But we're not taking this lying down. Not one bit. Our family has come together with Melissa's family and we're fighting this thing. So now we are asking for your help. On September 21st, 2024, Team Melissa will be taking part in the 2024 ALS Walk Georgia at the Georgia State Football Stadium (formerly Turner Field).
