Welcome to My Personal Page
When someone you love gets diagnosed with ALS, the first thing you ask is what can I do to help? For many people like me, the answer is to participate in Walk ALS Georgia, which raises awareness and money to support people living with ALS.
Why Georgia? Because that’s where my beloved kindergarten pal, Pam Grayboff, lives. Pam was a stellar athlete (captain of her high school and college tennis teams) and had a successful career in the hospitality industry, when she was diagnosed with ALS in 2018 at the age of 58. Within 6 months she was confined to a specialized wheelchair, unable to move from the neck down. Now 6 years later, this devastating illness is robbing Pam of her voice and other indignities.
But Pam is.a fierce warrior. Soon after diagnosis, Pam became an advocate and fundraiser extraordinaire to enhance the lives of those facing an ALS diagnosis. In 2019, 40+ of us joined Pam on the Walk for ALS in Atlanta. Team Pam’s Parade has been the #1 fundraising team each year, raising $236K thus far. The pandemic and Pam’s vulnerability have prevented her from participating in person since. For the 4th year in a row, I will be walking with a satellite group of Pam’s friends and colleagues, and friends of friends, on the beach of Cape Cod.
We will be walking in honor of Pam on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 AM. If you would like to join us in person, please use this link to register (and PM/email me for details):

You may not know anyone with ALS, but you do know me, and I am asking for your support. Will you please consider joining me to make strides in the fight against ALS? You can join our team or make a gift to support our team. Either way, with your help, we can enhance the lives of people living with ALS, every day until we find a cure.
I thank you, and Pam thanks you!
